Sam Cohen

I am a PhD student at the University of Chicago in the Department of Computer Science advised by Ravi Chugh.

My research interests fall at the intersection of Human Computer Interaction and Programming Langauges (PL). Specifically, I am building tools that make programming more visual, concrete, and interactive. I'm also interested in finding ways to integrate ideas from PL, such as functional abstraction, interfaces and information hiding, and static analysis into GUIs.
